  1. Thank you for sharing and I learned a new word today, vacuity.

    I may not have been, I was not, the best student and know I missed out on a vast knowledge resource in my younger days. I strive to learn something new each day and have for many years. It is encouraging and exciting when I do learn something when I am not trying or looking. This is something I make my children aware of and set a goal for them as well.

    Thank you again. I enjoy reading your Hoodoo blog and sorry I didn’t understand the importance of what was in front of me when I was young and not focused on making education the top priority.

    • Thanks for your thoughtful reply, David, and thanks for reading! Believe it or not, I was an indifferent student in high school. I think my final average in Trig my senior year was below 50, so there’s no need to apologize. Cheers!
