Here We Go Loopy Light

Here we go looby loo,
All on a Saturday night,

They say socializing jazzes up 

old people’s metabolism, 

that yakking it up may ward off 

something or another, 

which is a happy accident 

in my case, 

because even 

if I were operating 

an electric wheelchair, 

I’d be locomoting 

up to the bar, 

making eye contact, 

getting my suds delivered.
